Google AdSense PIN: A crucial step in ensuring account and payments security
When you reach $100.00 in earnings with Google AdSense, a pivotal moment arrives – the issuance of your Personal Identification Number (PIN). This PIN is sent to the payment address you provided during initial signup. Although this may seem like an extra layer of security, it is an essential measure that Google AdSense takes to protect publishers.
Once the PIN arrives in your mailbox, be aware that your account payments will be temporarily suspended until the PIN is successfully entered. Although you can continue to access your account and generate revenue, actual payments will remain on hold until this security step is complete. Please note that if the PIN is not entered within a year of its issuance, your account may face deactivation.
When your PIN arrives, immediately log in to your Google AdSense account. Go to the My Account tab and select Edit. Update the custom field with the PIN you received and click Submit Changes. At the same time, take some time to review and validate your contact information to ensure it is accurate. After successfully entering your PIN, you are now ready to receive your inaugural Google AdSense payment. This straightforward process not only ensures account security, but also sets the stage for an exciting moment when the first check arrives.
